January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month

January is the perfect time to spread awareness of Glaucoma, the leading cause of preventable blindness in the United States (over 120,000). The Glaucoma Research Foundation states that 2.7 million Americans have this desease and experts estimate that over half of them don’t know they have it.

There are no symptoms, so annual eye exams are critical in diagnosing and treating this condition.
