2014 DOT Random Testing Rates

The Department of Transportation has released their 2014 minimum random drug and alcohol testing rates for DOT agencies and the United States Coast Guard:

Employers and C/TPAs who are subject to more than one DOT agency drug and alcohol testing rule are permitted to combine covered employees into one random selection pool.  However, you must test at or above the highest minimum testing rate established for the DOT agencies under whose jurisdiction your company falls.

USCG employees may be combined with DOT-covered employees even though the USCG has become part of the Department of Homeland Security.

If you have any questions or concerns about your company meeting these newly-established minimums, please contact Florida Onsite Drug Testing at 800-757-9307.  Our certified professionals can ensure your random drug and alcohol program is meeting these requirements.
